The University 

The summer school is organized by Centre for Industrial and Engineering Optics, TU Dublin. The  Summer school will be located across visit two key locations within the University both close to the city center- the main campus located in Grangegorman (Dublin 7) and the FOCAS research institute (Dublin 2) .

Our campus at Grangegorman, which is the largest investment in Higher Education in Ireland, brings together many of our activities in one vibrant, cutting-edge campus, providing our students with an incomparable educational experience. Together with our campuses in Aungier Street, Bolton Street, Blanchardstown, and Tallaght, Grangegorman provides a welcoming working environment where our students and staff can explore their abilities and reach their full potential.

The FOCAS Research Institute houses a number of interdisciplinary research groups derived from Science and Engineering. The structure and the philosophy of the institute encourage a dynamic interaction between the groups, optimising resources and pooling expertise.The facility addresses the common needs of research activities in Science and Engineering, and is founded on established expertise within the University and aims to consolidate and develop this expertise, while nurturing developing research activities within TU Dublin.
