Visa for Republic of Ireland
Visitors from certain countries may require a visa to enter Republic of Ireland. It is important to check the visa requirements before planning your trip. **Ireland is not part of the Shengen area**
Please, keep in mind that although Republic of Ireland is part of European Union and European Economic Area, the country is not part of the Shengen Area. That would mean that people currently residing in EU country will need to apply for visa to enter Republic of Ireland.

Transport

The airport is located approximately 10km north of Dublin city center and it can be reached by bus, taxi, or car. Public transport busses (Routes 16 and 42) connects the airport and the city center. The Airlink Express bus service provides a direct link between Dublin Airport and the city.
